IT Project Manager
This position will focus on managing a custom software development effort using Agile methodologies and coordinating closely with development teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners. The IT Project Manager will serve as a key connector across teams, ensuring clarity, momentum, and on-time delivery in a dynamic environment. This role is ideal for a proactive, hands-on project manager who thrives in ambiguity, identifies gaps, and takes initiative to move work forward.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a custom software development initiative using Agile methodologies
- Facilitate daily stand-ups and other Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives
- Act as a central point of coordination between development teams and internal stakeholders
- Operate effectively in an environment with evolving requirements by engaging the right stakeholders to define needs and next steps
- Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies and proactively drive solutions and follow-ups
- Support light business analysis activities including documentation, requirement clarification, and user story development
- Track project status, timelines, and deliverables; provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Drive accountability and maintain momentum across teams to meet delivery and quality expectations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on Agile software development
- Proven experience managing custom software development projects
- Experience leading daily stand-ups and working closely with development teams
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
- Strong communication, follow-up, and organizational skills
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to identify needs and take ownership
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Exposure to business analysis or requirements documentation
- Experience working with distributed or offshore development teams
