Senior Test Automation Engineer

What You’ll Do
- Design and maintain automated test frameworks for enterprise applications and distributed systems
- Partner with development, DevOps, and product teams to define test strategies and standards
- Build automated tests across API, UI, integration, and performance layers
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Identify and report defects clearly, working with developers to resolve issues
- Establish best practices for test automation and code quality
- Mentor QA and engineering team members
Requirements
- 7+ years in software quality assurance, with 4+ years in test automation
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Experience building automation frameworks from scratch
- Expertise with tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured, or Postman
- Knowledge of test design: unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing
- Experience integrating testing into CI/CD environments
- API testing experience and data-driven testing knowledge
- Experience with cloud systems (AWS preferred) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
- SQL proficiency and data validation experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

- Performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, k6)
- BDD/TDD frameworks (Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG)
- Microservices and event-driven architecture testing
- Healthcare standards knowledge (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR)
- Experience scaling automation in growing organizations
