Position: Data Manager
Location: Remote, ability to travel to Columbus
Contract to Hire: 6 months

Role responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement procedures for effective data management.
  • Assist with Acquisition projects migrating data to and from different ERP systems.
  • Business analysis to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Liaison with third party IT service partners to ensure that data interchange are created/maintained
  • Strong understanding of change management including people, process, and technology.
  • Implement procedures related to the secure and efficient handling and sharing of data.
  • Regularly monitor and evaluate information and data systems that could affect analytical results.
  • Assess system performance and make recommendations for software, hardware, and data storage improvements.
  • Coordinate and provide estimates for projects and complete estimates for assigned components for projects, inclusive of timelines and project phases.
  • Analyze and interpret large amounts of data.  Identify patterns, relationships, and problems in data and statistical sets.
  • Ensure security from data loss, security breach, and hacking.
  • Troubleshoot and authorize the maintenance of data-related problems.
  • Serve as subject matter expert to consult and advise on how applications may be impacted by enterprise- wide initiatives, like an acquisition or major change in products/services provided to customers.
